Legal Advice Required – ODA Classes / Pigeon Education Technology – Refund of ₹18,999 and Consumer Complaint

I am seeking legal advice regarding a dispute with ODA Classes, operated by Pigeon Education Technology / Pigeon Education Technology India Private Limited. I enrolled my daughter, Plavita Singha (Class 7), in ODA Classes on June 2, 2026, and paid ₹18,999 as the joining/course fee. During the admission process and Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), I was assured that: My daughter would receive one-to-one support for clearing her academic doubts. If we were not satisfied with the quality of teaching or services provided, the full amount of ₹18,999 would be refunded. After the classes started on June 3, 2026, the services did not meet the commitments made during enrollment. My concerns include: My daughter did not receive the promised one-to-one academic support. During live classes, other students were given opportunities to interact directly with subject teachers, answer questions and clarify doubts, whereas my daughter was not provided comparable opportunities. I repeatedly raised these concerns with the assigned mentor, Gayatri, but the issues were not satisfactorily resolved. It was difficult to obtain timely assistance from the mentor. On several occasions, I had to repeat concerns that had already been communicated. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, the situation did not improve. I subsequently requested cancellation of the course and a full refund of ₹18,999 based on the refund assurance provided during the admission/PTM process. I also escalated the matter to ODA's management. On July 22, 2026, I filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline. I am not looking only for assistance in obtaining the refund.
