Subject: Complaint regarding person who induced me to take a ₹50,000 loan in my name and is now refusing to pay the agreed EMI I am submitting this complaint against Steven Ranbhise, mobile number [protected]. On 11 July, Steven Ranbhise requested me to take a loan of ₹50,000 in my own name, assuring me that he would use the money and would regularly pay all the EMIs on time. Based on his assurance, I obtained the loan through the Fibe application in my name. The loan amount of ₹50,000 was credited to my bank account, after which I transferred the entire amount to Steven Ranbhise. I have the bank/UPI transaction proof of this transfer. Steven Ranbhise also confirmed through WhatsApp that he would pay the EMIs. He paid the first EMI of ₹4,800 on 5 August on time. However, the second EMI of ₹4,800 was due on 5 September and has now remained overdue for 4 days. Penalty charges are being added and I am concerned that the overdue is affecting my credit history/CIBIL score. I have WhatsApp conversations in which Steven Ranbhise agreed to pay the EMIs, proof of the ₹50,000 transfer made to him, proof of the loan, and proof of the first EMI payment. I have repeatedly requested him to pay the overdue EMI, but he has not cleared it. Since the loan is in my name, I am facing financial loss, penalty charges and damage/risk to my credit history even though the loan amount was transferred to him based on his assurance that he would repay the EMIs. I request the police to kindly take my complaint on record, investigate the matter and take appropriate legal action as per law. I also request that Steven Ranbhise be contacted and directed to cooperate with the investigation and resolve the outstanding EMI liability. I am ready to provide all supporting evidence, including WhatsApp chats, bank/UPI transfer records, loan documents, EMI records and other relevant evidence whenever required.
