Complaint Details
I came across an advertisement on Instagram offering "10k followers for ₹99". Upon contacting the service provider via WhatsApp, I was instructed to pay the initial amount of ₹99. After I transferred ₹99, the fraudster claimed that my account was unverified and requested ₹599 as "refundable verification charges". I transferred ₹599. Following this, he demanded ₹1,199 as "GST charges", assuring me that this was the final charge. After receiving ₹1,199, he demanded an additional ₹2,000 under the pretext of "cancellation charges". Despite repeating each time that no further payment would be required, he continuously demanded more money. Total money transferred: ₹1,897.
