A Complaint about cheating

To, The Cyber Crime Officer National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal Government of India Subject: Complaint against Harwinder Singh for selling a Samsung S22 Ultra 5G with duplicate display and cheating in the name of replacement Respected Sir/Madam, I wish to lodge a complaint against a Facebook Marketplace seller who cheated me in connection with the purchase of a Samsung S22 Ultra 5G mobile phone. 1. Accused/Seller Details - Seller Name: Harwinder Singh - Mobile Number: [protected] - Facebook Profile Name: Jatt Saab - Platform: Facebook Marketplace 2. Details of Incident I contacted the seller through Facebook Marketplace regarding the purchase of a Samsung S22 Ultra 5G mobile phone. The seller represented the phone as an original product. However, after receiving the phone, I discovered that it had a duplicate/copy display instead of the original display. For purchasing the phone, I paid the following amount: 1. Rs. 24,500 in cash. 2. Rs. 5,500 through UPI to the seller. Later, when I contacted the seller regarding replacement of the duplicate display, he demanded an additional Rs. 500 in the name of replacement. I paid the additional Rs. 500 through UPI/Google Pay/PhonePe. After receiving the replacement amount, the seller blocked me on all communication platforms and stopped responding to my calls and messages. 3. Available Evidence I have the following evidence to support my complaint: 1. Facebook Marketplace conversation screenshots. 2. Seller's Facebook profile details. 3. UPI payment screenshot of Rs. 5,500. 4. UPI payment screenshot of Rs. 500. 5. Mobile phone photographs/videos showing the duplicate display. 6. Seller's contact number and profile name. 7. Evidence of the seller blocking me. 8. Cash payment details, as available. 5. Request for Action I respectfully request the Cyber Crime Department to: 1. Investigate the seller Harwinder Singh and his mobile number [protected]. Verify his Facebook Marketplace profile named Jatt Saab. 3. Investigate the UPI transactions and identify the beneficiary account. 4. Take appropriate legal action regarding the alleged cheating and misrepresentation. 5. Help me recover the amount of Rs. 30,500, subject to investigation. 6. Take necessary action to prevent similar incidents involving other buyers. I am ready to provide all original evidence, transaction details and the mobile phone for investigation whenever required. I request you to kindly register my complaint and take appropriate action.
