Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Delay in Interior Design Work and Refusal to Refund the Amount Paid Dear Sir/Madam, I, Ashish Ranjan Deb, had engaged DECORPOT, Ranchi, Jharkhand, for interior design work for my flat. As per our agreement, the company was required to complete the furniture assembly and installation within the agreed deadline. However, even after the expiry of the committed deadline, the company has failed to complete the furniture assembly and installation. Despite my repeated requests and follow-ups, the company has shown no satisfactory commitment to completing the work within a reasonable timeframe. When I requested the company to refund the amount paid by me due to the delay and failure to complete the agreed work, my request was simply denied. This response is unacceptable, as I have made the payment with the expectation that the company would fulfil its contractual obligations within the agreed period. I therefore request DECORPOT to resolve this matter immediately by either completing the pending work within a mutually agreed final deadline or refunding the amount paid by me, as applicable under our agreement and the law. If the company fails to provide a satisfactory resolution, I will be compelled to escalate the matter to the appropriate consumer grievance authorities and pursue the remedies available to me under applicable law.
