I came across a reel on Instagram where a person claimed he could increase the subscribers/followers on my YouTube channel. He contacted me on WhatsApp and, based on his assurances, I trusted him. He first gave a small demo of increasing followers and took Rs 300 from me. After that he kept asking for more money in parts, Rs 1200, then Rs 4000, then Rs 8000, and then Rs 3000, promising to grow my channel followers each time. Trusting his words, I paid him online in installments, and in total I have paid him around Rs 16000. After taking this money, he did not deliver the promised results and it became clear that I was cheated in the name of a social media growth service. Even now, he continues to call and message me asking for more money. I request the platform to help me recover the amount of Rs 16000 that I have lost in this fraud, stop this person from contacting me further for money, and take appropriate action against him for cheating me under the pretext of increasing social media followers.
