Non-Delivery of Ordered Merchandise and Failure to Process Refund Despite Repeated Assurances

We, a group of college students, placed an order for merchandise from Shree Ganesh Textiles on 10 August 2026, for which we paid a total amount of ₹25,000. The incident originated on the date of the order, and the agreed merchandise has still not been delivered. Despite the payment being made, the vendor has failed to deliver the ordered merchandise for nearly three months. During this period, we have contacted the vendor multiple times through WhatsApp, SMS and phone calls to enquire about the status of the order. On every occasion, the vendor has provided assurances that the merchandise would be delivered shortly, repeatedly stating that the matter would be cleared by the end of the week or within a few days. However, these assurances have never materialised. Even as of today, the vendor continues to respond that the matter will be cleared soon, without providing any concrete updates regarding the actual progress, production, dispatch or expected delivery date. Considering the prolonged delay and complete lack of a definite resolution, we subsequently requested a refund of the amount paid. However, the vendor has also failed to process the refund and continues to postpone the matter without providing any clear timeline or confirmation. Being college students, we had arranged and paid this amount from funds collected for the merchandise order. This prolonged non-delivery, coupled with the vendor's failure to refund the amount despite repeated requests, has caused us considerable financial loss and inconvenience. We request appropriate intervention and resolution of this grievance, including a full refund of ₹25,000 and suitable action to ensure accountability on the part of the vendor.
