Digital Loan App Harassment, Threats and Misuse of Personal Data

I had applied for a loan through a digital loan application. However, I had not fully accepted, confirmed, or clearly provided final consent for the loan. Despite this, an amount was subsequently credited to my bank account by the concerned loan service without my clear confirmation of final acceptance. After the amount was credited, I started receiving repeated recovery calls from different mobile numbers demanding repayment. The callers are repeatedly changing numbers and contacting me through multiple mobile numbers. The persons involved have also contacted people saved in my mobile phone contacts. They are repeatedly calling and messaging me, demanding payment within an extremely short period and using threatening, intimidating and abusive language. They have specifically threatened to edit, misuse or manipulate my photograph and send it to my contacts if I do not make the demanded payment. I have received threatening WhatsApp messages in this regard. One person contacted me through WhatsApp from the number [protected]. This person threatened to edit my photograph and send it to all my contacts and demanded that I make the payment within 20 minutes. Screenshots of these WhatsApp messages are available and can be submitted as evidence. My call log also shows repeated calls from multiple mobile numbers relating to the recovery demands and harassment. I am preserving the call logs, WhatsApp messages, screenshots, mobile numbers and other relevant evidence. I am concerned that my personal information, contact list and photograph may have been accessed or misused without my proper consent and may be further circulated or misused to threaten and harass me. I request the concerned Cyber Crime authorities to kindly investigate the digital loan application/service, the persons and mobile numbers involved, the manner in which my personal data and contacts were accessed, and the threats and harassment being carried out against me. I also request that appropriate legal action be taken against the persons responsible for threatening, abusing, harassing and attempting to misuse my photograph and personal information. I am ready to provide all available evidence, including screenshots of WhatsApp messages, call logs, mobile numbers, details of the loan application, bank transaction details and any other information required for the investigation.
