Complaint Regarding Defective and Unfit-for-Consumption Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut Chocolate – Refusal of Replacement by shopkeeper

I purchased a Cadbury Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut chocolate on 7 October 2026 from a retailer at Gangaram Gali, Near Shakti Dairy, Mandawali, Delhi – 110092. Although the product is within its expiry date, after opening the package I found that the chocolate was spoiled and had a foul/unpleasant smell, making it unfit for consumption. I approached the retailer and requested a replacement or refund, but he refused to provide either. I request appropriate action regarding the sale of a spoiled food product and the retailer's refusal to resolve the issue. I also request a refund or replacement of the product. I can provide photographs of the product, packaging, batch number, expiry date and purchase proof as required.
