REFUND Delayed , Deficiency Service

Consumer Complaint Description – Pending EMI Refund by Aptus I am filing this complaint against Aptus regarding the unreasonable delay in refunding an EMI debited from my bank account after the closure of my home construction loan. When I contacted Aptus, I was informed that the refund would be processed within 7–15 working days. However, more than one month has passed, and the refund has not been credited. Subsequently, my bank account was frozen due to an unrelated issue. I visited the Aptus Guntur branch and requested that my alternative bank account details be updated to facilitate the refund. Despite repeated follow-ups, I have not received a satisfactory response, a clear update on the refund status, or confirmation regarding the alternative bank account details. This delay and lack of proper communication have caused considerable inconvenience. I request the concerned authorities to direct Aptus to verify the pending refund, update my alternative bank account details after the required verification, refund the wrongly debited EMI at the earliest, and provide a written explanation for the delay. I am ready to submit the relevant loan closure documents, bank statements, and alternative bank account proof as required. I request a prompt resolution and written confirmation of the action taken. If the matter remains unresolved, I reserve the right to pursue appropriate remedies before the relevant consumer grievance redressal authorities in accordance with applicable law.
