Airtel tagged with some mobile phone companies and locking their devices, to remove lock users must recharge for 18 months or buy out over thousands of rupees, this option is provided to only mid class mostly uneducated users, why higher end mobile phones and IOS are not locked?. This is a an act against users own will, buying any phone or sim should not come with these kind of annoying strings attached, In India this can be considered as scam as user precious time and money are misused
