Electric Meter charge due to consumer side

Dear Sir, My Name is Rahul Jain S/o Sh. Pushpendra Kumar Jain. We are living in Shanti Nagar Bhopa Road Muzaffarnagar Uttar Pradesh. I have a complaint: in 2024, our meter reading was not displaying correctly, which is why the meter reader could not generate an accurate bill. I lodged a written complaint about this in Sep. 2024 with the Junior Engineer (JE) of our area. He had the meter removed and sent to the lab for testing. Lab testing revealed that the meter had an internal fault and had not been tampered with; yet, the charge was levied against us in Dec. 2025. I lodged a complaint regarding this with the Junior Engineer (JE) of my area. However, no solution has been found so far; please assist me in this matter.
