Subject: Complaint Regarding Misrepresentation of GPU Power (TGP) in HP Victus 15 Laptop I purchased an HP Victus 15-fb3118AX gaming laptop (Product No.: BT6D0PA#ACJ) on 2 October 2026 from a retail shop named "The Laptop Store" in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, for approximately ₹1,04,500. Before purchasing the laptop, I specifically considered the GPU's power limit (TGP), as gaming and GPU performance were important factors in my buying decision. The shop employee explicitly informed me that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6GB GPU in this laptop had a maximum graphics power of 75W. I relied on this representation when deciding to purchase the laptop. However, after purchasing the laptop, I checked its specifications using NVIDIA System Information and discovered that its maximum graphics power was listed as only 50W, despite the seller's earlier representation of 75W. To verify this, I tested the laptop under heavy GPU workloads and observed that the GPU power consumption reached approximately 50–51.5W, rather than the 70–75W that had been represented to me before purchase. I subsequently contacted the seller to explain the discrepancy. Initially, the shop employee stated that Dynamic Boost technology would increase the GPU power to approximately 70–75W. The employee also indicated that they would take action if the laptop failed to reach at least 70W. However, after approximately 2–3 days, the seller changed their statement and acknowledged that the laptop was actually limited to 50W. The seller then refused to provide any solution, replacement, or other remedy, stating that nothing could be done. I also sought clarification from HP customer support regarding the laptop's GPU power specification. The communication with HP did not resolve the issue or provide me with the remedy I was seeking. This purchase was a significant financial expense for my family. I selected this particular laptop based on the GPU power specification communicated by the seller. Had I been correctly informed that the RTX 4050 GPU was limited to 50W, I would have considered other available laptops before making the purchase. I believe that the seller provided misleading information about an important technical specification that directly influenced my purchasing decision. This has resulted in financial disadvantage, dissatisfaction, and loss of confidence in the seller. Resolution Requested: I request assistance in obtaining an appropriate remedy for this issue. My preferred resolution is: 1. Replacement with an equivalent or better laptop featuring an RTX 4050 GPU with at least the 75W power specification represented before purchase, without requiring any additional payment. 2. Alternatively, a full refund of the purchase price of approximately ₹1,04,500. 3. Appropriate compensation, if legally justified, for the inconvenience and financial disadvantage caused by the misleading representation. I can provide the purchase invoice, screenshots of NVIDIA System Informatio
