Complaint Details
I would like to report a suspected cyber fraud involving my mobile number, OTPs, and bank account. My brother recently installed an APK that claimed to be related to the PM Ujjwala Yojana. He entered his mobile number in the APK, received an OTP, and completed a ₹1 verification using my bank account. After this, I started receiving multiple OTPs from different companies and services, even though I had not requested or initiated any such transactions. Approximately five hours later, I received a financial fraud involving an unauthorised debit of ₹9,000 from my bank account at around 2:15 PM. This amount was my hard-earned money, and I am extremely distressed by the incident. I suspect that my mobile number, OTPs, banking details, or other personal information may have been compromised through the suspicious APK and the activities that followed. I request the concerned authorities and my bank to urgently investigate this matter, take immediate steps to prevent any further unauthorised transactions, trace and freeze the fraudulent funds if possible, and assist me in recovering my ₹9,000. I am ready to provide all relevant screenshots, OTP messages, transaction details, bank statements, and information regarding the APK to assist with the investigation.
