Verification scam

I saw an online advertisement by Riya Hampers for a gift hamper worth ₹2000 and, based on this advertisement, I placed an order on 27th October. As per their instructions, I paid 50% as advance, with the remaining 50% to be paid as COD. After receiving my₹1000 advance payment, Riya Hampers asked me to pay an additional ₹1999 for a so-called verification process. At this point, I realised this was a scam. I asked them to cancel my order and refund my advance payment, but they refused to do so. I request the platform to look into this matter and ensure that Riya Hampers corrects or withdraws the misleading advertisement, refunds my advance payment, and takes appropriate action to resolve the issue caused to me as a consumer.
