Request for refund of the amount paid towards unauthorized credit card fraud transactions

Respected Sir/Madam, I respectfully submit that unauthorized UPI transactions amounting to ₹71,999.97 were carried out from my Axis Bank Credit Card ending in 8972 on 04/07/2026, without my knowledge or consent. I immediately reported the matter to Axis Bank and also lodged complaints with the concerned authorities. The relevant complaint details are as follows: - Axis Bank Customer Care Complaint No.: SAK[protected] - Cyber Crime Complaint No.: [protected] - FIR/Sanha No.: 590/2026 - SP Saran/Chapra Complaint Received No.: 15792/2026 - DM Saran Complaint No.: 3611/2026 - Axis Bank Nodal Officer SR No.: [protected] - RBI Ombudsman/CMS Complaint No.: N[protected] - Bank Interaction Reference No.: [protected] I have also sent several emails to the RBI regarding this matter, but unfortunately I have not received any satisfactory response or relief so far. Due to continuous pressure from the bank to clear the disputed amount, I was compelled to make full payment of ₹71,999.97, even though I have consistently disputed these transactions as unauthorized and fraudulent. I therefore humbly request the Reserve Bank of India to kindly intervene in the matter and direct Axis Bank to refund ₹71,999.97, which I was compelled to pay towards the disputed fraudulent transactions.
